Starting with LPVR 4.8 the Varjo version of LPVR-CAD

...

C:\Users\LP-Research\AppData\Local\LP-Research\LPVR-CAD\driver\lpvr_cad\resources\configuration\settings.json

LPVR-CAD for Varjo

Stored internally in Varjo Base. Can only be accessed via Varjo Base.

LPVR-DUO for SteamVR

C:\Users\LP-Research\AppData\Localand LPVR-DUO user can use a global system default configuration and settings made by each user will be written to their own file. This mechanism is used by default for LPVR-DUO as the more complex configuration cannot be reflected by a GUI inside Varjo Base, but in LPVR-CAD the user has to opt in to the mechanism by creating appropriate files.

LPVR-CAD

The GUI inside Varjo Base is provided by default. To disable it, create either the global configuration file %ProgramData%/Varjo/VarjoTracking/Plugins/LP-Research/LPVR-CAD-Varjo/configuration/settings.json or the per-user configuration file %LocalAppData%/LP-Research/LPVR-DUO-Varjo/settings.json. The driver can then be configured from http://localhost:7119/ and changes to the configuration will be written to the per-user configuration file. If the per-user configuration file is found, it will always take precedence over the global configuration file. In that way, system administrators can provide a default which the users can customize.

Since these files don’t exist, we provide two default configurations:

  • View file
    namelpvr-cad_varjo_default_config.json
default configuration for systems with ART tracking, and

  • View file
    namelpvr-cad_varjo_default_config_optitrack.json
default configuration for systems with OptiTrack tracking

Please remember to rename the files to settings.json and place them in the appropriate location.

LPVR-DUO

Upon installation of LPVR-DUO-Varjo the default configuration is created in the global configuration file %ProgramData%/Varjo/VarjoTracking/Plugins/LP-Research/LPVR-DUO-Varjo/configuration/settings.json, changes made by the user are stored in the per-user configuration file %LocalAppData%/LP-Research/LPVR-DUO-Varjo/settings.json. If the system administrator wants to make settings permanent for all users, they can make the changes in the web interface and then copy the per-user configuration file to the global configuration file location.

SteamVR

For SteamVR, the settings can be found in the following locations:
