This documentation applies for users of LPVR with ART tracking. If you are using Optitrack, please refer to this page for manual calibration instructions. Besides the pre-defined marker files we also offer an automatic calibration procedure that you can use to create your own body file. Please see here for instructions. |
Introduction
On this page we show a number of predefined marker setups for optical marker target. These files have been created using our automatic calibration algorithm or data from the manufacturer and are a very close approximation of an ideal configuration.

For customers using our marker holder and ART. Please zip the appropriate files together with the necessary installers. The file matches the product name, i.e. the first file is the “first” layout, the second file is the “second” layout (layout B). The user should do a recalibration after loading these files onto their controller.

Below are the Body Files from ART for their marker holders for the XR-4
Optitrack
For Optitrack these files come in two variants: for Motive 2 (names end in .motive
)and Motive 3 (names end in .csv
). For optimal tracking the rigid bodies need to be refined (a function in the Builder pane of Optitrack, documentation here: Builder Pane | EXTERNAL Optitrack Documentation)
